He began his career as an intern lawyer in 1997 with Dr. Proença de Carvalho.

He practiced law under a liberal regime between 1999 and 2004.

He joined JPAB – José Pedro Aguiar Branco & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados, between 2004 and 2018, as partner, developing his activity in the areas of Litigation and Criminal Law.

He was a partner at Rogério Alves & Associados – Sociedade de Advogados, R.L., until June 2019, working in the area of Litigation and Arbitration, with particular focus on Civil Litigation and Criminal Litigation.

Throughout his professional career he has also worked in the area of employment law (hiring and disciplinary litigation), providing permanent support to collective entities and individuals, and in family law – with special emphasis on inheritance and juvenile matters.

He has provided support in various business processes, both individual and collective, through support in the analysis of contracts and risk analysis and prevention, within the scope of implementing the practice of preventive law.

• Law Degree, 1997, from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lisbon;

• Post-graduate degree in Community Litigation, 1998, from the Portuguese Catholic University;

• Post-graduation in 1999 in Administrative and Tax Litigation from the Portuguese Catholic University;

• Post-graduate degree, in 2004, in Forensic Procedural Practices, from the Portuguese Catholic University;

• Member of the Portuguese Bar Association.
